Lesson  4   Minor Scales


Notes


1. The Minor Scale has a lowered 3rd note

2. To find a relative minor start on the major 6th degree of a scale

3. A natural minor has a lowered 3rd , Lowered 6th and Lowered 7th

4 . A Melodic Minor scale  ascends with  a lowered 3rd , Raised 6th and 7th notes of the scale 

but descends lowering the 6th and 7th notes of the scale

5.  A Parallel  minor scale  just start on the same note as the major scale   example :  C minor is parallel to C major scale..
